The working principle of self-priming pump :
When the pump is started, the water in the pump needs to be filled with water. When the pump is started, because the water in the inlet pipeline is discontinuous, the water in the cylinder returns to the impeller through the flow channel, and the air in the inlet pipeline is mixed with the air in the impeller. Under the action of the impeller, it is discharged into the cylinder. Because the flow area is suddenly increased, the flow rate of the gas-liquid mixture is reduced, and the lighter gas is separated from the water. The gas in the upper part of the cylinder escapes, and the water in the lower part returns to the impeller, and re-mixed with the gas in the inlet pipeline. In this cycle, until the air in the pump inlet pipeline is completely discharged, self-priming is completed, and normal pumping is completed.
